In its efforts to provide for the well-being of tourists and the locals the Association organizes various shows, including the following traditional events:

Carnival

Each year, Radenci TA, organizes in collaboration with The Friends of the Youth Association a Carnival Dance for the pre-school and school children of the Radenci municipality in the sports centre in Radenci.

Salami feast of Pomurje

The Salami feast of Pomurje is a part of the association of the Slovene salami feasts - traditional events in which the best salamis from Pomurje and other parts of Slovenia are presented and judged. The event is accompanied by humoristic programme and good music.

Exercise for health - walking test, 2 km

Under the All-Slovenian Exercise for health activity, a test of physical abilities, based on a computer programme and expert advice from a physician is organized for Radenci TA members and other members of the community.

May Day bonfire (Hunting Lodge)

Each year, in celebration of May 1st, Radenci TA, in collaboration with the hunting family Radenci and the fire-fighter association Radenci - Boraeeva, organizes the setting up of a Maypole by the health centre, and a torch walk from the Maypole to the Hunting Lodge where a bonfire is lit.

Let's get to know our town - a recreational walk

around the Radenci municipality area. Once a year, a recreational walk is organized for Radenci TA members and other members of the community to (re)discover the towns and villages of our municipality.

Styria sour soup from pot

This is our main event. We have been organizing it for many years during the municipality festival in June. 10 to 15 teams, featuring various celebrities, are invited to the competition. A team of two cooks must make a Styria sour soup following the recipe provided, adding various ingredients of choice. The soup is cooked in a pot over an open fire. After three hours of cooking, all soups are tasted by judges who select the best three. When the competition is finished, the soup is handed out to the teams' supporters and other guests.

Autumn delights - the village market

It is organized every year in autumn. The market is an opportunity for the local producers to offer their harvest to the visitors for winter stock. In 2004 and in collaboration with the other cultural-artistic associations, the event was enriched with a demonstration of husking - lüpanje of corn the old-fashioned way.
